Governance Review Update

We’re delighted to announce that Ian Baines and Myfanwy Barrett will shortly become non-executive directors on the Board of Plumbing Pensions (UK) Administration, the company that carries out day-to-day administration tasks for the pension scheme and supports the Trustee and Employer Companies.  Ian and Myfanwy will join the Board later this year when the new governance structure ‘goes live’ and the current directors step down.

Ian Baines is an experienced senior pension professional. He has a commercial mindset and a proven track record in pension scheme management, employee engagement and administration of large and complex schemes. His previous roles include Head of Pensions at Nationwide Building Society and EDF Energy.

 Myfanwy Barrett is an experienced non-executive director and qualified accountant (CIPFA). Her areas of expertise include governance, financial strategy and working in a complex stakeholder environment, primarily for government and not-for-profit organisations. Myfanwy’s other pension roles include non-executive directorships for the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) and the Pensions Ombudsman.
